International cousine

Post by Mix on Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:50 am

Hello people, I was wondering if we could summon all our favourite dishes here, with photos and everything.

Also, if there is someone with any cooking expirience at it would be cool to share some tricks with us.
And most favourite specialities from national cousine is cool.
I know that Greeks are gourmans, and so we could start with Greek cousine(paidokia is great, at least for me since I am food lover, despite nobody would tell that at first glance Very Happy

Tzatziki never done it actually but have seen my mother doing.

You will need 1/2 kilo of yoghurt like Total Fage (Full Fat)
2-3 large cloves of garlic
Salt and one spun vinegar
2 large cucumber
3/4 spun olive oil

Clear the garlic and remove the inner green root. Smash the garlic to small piece with something heavy or a big bottle. Cut the cucumber and have to pass it, from the tool that use to make cheese for pasta, to be like very small pieces in a ball. Put Salt in the cucumber in the ball and then press it to remove the water from cucumber. Put inside the youghurt, garlic, vinegar and oil and mix them. Taste and add more salt if needed.

Enjoy with meet..
